The New Financial Representative (FR) Development and Support person is responsible for the execution and oversight of New Representative Development from the time the new FR accepts the offer to join our company to supporting them as they begin to write new business.

 

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Development:

·         Contracting and Licensing- act as a liaison between the home office and the financial representative to get them through the contracting and licensing process

 

·         Pre-Training- Develop, distribute and ensuring completion of the Pre-training action plan with new representatives

 

·         Ad hoc training- Coordinating weekly, monthly and quarterly training sessions and meetings with our financial reps and the General Agency

 

·         Contests- Coordinating and tracking inter-office contests

 

·         Board of Review meetings- schedule and run reports for these monthly meetings

 

Support:

·         Discovery Letters- write and mail out discovery letters for new FR’s

 

·         Underwriting- check new FR DSR’s and make sure any outstanding underwriting requirements are being followed up on. Make sure medical records are in on time and follow up with the clients on any missing information or signatures

 

·         Applications- make sure there is no missing information, copy and send out

 

·         IFL (In Force Ledger) requests- help them order IFL’s from outside companies, print IFL’s and anything else a rep needs for CRC clients

 

·         Marketing Room- Organize and order marketing and recruiting supplies

 

Misc:

·         Answer phones for main line

 

·         Greet clients and put their names on board

Ideal Candidate Characteristics 

  • Associate or Bachelors degree preferred. 
  • One to two years of office experience required.
  • Administrative support experience, including technology skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
